Since 1928, Troop 49 has provided a traditional Scout Led experiences. 

From Camping, to STEM, to High Adventure, we make scouting fun! 

Troop 49 Scouts had the opportunity to attend two summer camps this year!  

In June, 30 scouts and leaders travelled to Camp Meriwether on the Oregon coast and got to celebrate the camp's 100th year!  Scouts participated in a beach party, earned many merit badges, and had a lot of fun!  The troop won Honor Troop and came in 3rd place in the camp triathlon.  They also won the "Hullabaloo" and got to throw a staff member in the lake.

In July, 25 scouts and leaders attended Camp Fire Mountain in our home council.  The scouts enjoyed ziplining, earning merit badges, and lots of advancement!
