Tree Planting with Sound Salmon Solutions

Date: November 20, 2021

Troop 49 supported Sound Salmon Solutions to help make the Stillaguamish watershed better for salmon, wildlife and people! We planted over 200 native trees and shrubs along Segelson Creek near Segelson Creek & the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River on flat, field grass.

It will be nice to revisit this area in 10 years to see a forest where there is now an open field.

In the News:

Volunteers from Boy Scout Troop 49 in Lynnwood and Girl Scout Troop 21286 in Lake Stevens helped Sound Salmon Solutions plant 357 native trees and plants along Segelson Creek and the North Fork Stillaguamish River near Darrington on Nov. 20. (Sound Salmon Solutions)
